Christopher Daubert, vice chancellor and dean of the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, has been named president of IFT.

The new membership opportunity is geared toward pet product suppliers.

The organizations will raise awareness amongst consumers and veterinarians on the root causes of the issue.

Applications are now open for startups, academia, research institutes or established organizations.

The new Sustainability Road Map project highlights the environmental benefits of innovation in the animal feed industry.

The association is focused on several initiatives all aimed to nurture the industry’s resiliency.  

The association plans to support the animal feed and pet food industries by focusing on regulatory practices, supply chain challenges, trade, sustainability and more.

Supporting and advocating for the pet food industry has become a personal mission for this dedicated leader.  

The event will be held from Jan. 28 to 30, with AFIA’s Pet Food Conference on the 28th.
