TORONTO — Pet retail giant PetSmart has partnered with Skip, a direct-to-consumer (DTC) Canadian delivery network, to advance its omnichannel strategy. Through the partnership, Canadian consumers can now order more than 15,000 PetSmart products, from pet nutrition to litter, toys and pet accessories, directly on Skip.

According to Skip, its partnership with PetSmart marks a significant step in its evolution into everyday retail, while also reinforcing its role as Canada’s go-to platform for daily convenience. By adding PetSmart to its offerings, Skip will expand its product range.

“Partnering with PetSmart is a big move in Skip’s mission to become Canadians’ go-to destination for everyday convenience,” said Paul Sudarsan, vice president of retail and new verticals at Skip. “We’re creating a retail experience where getting what you need, whether it’s dinner, groceries or dog food, is fast, easy and hassle-free. Now Canadians can sit and stay, while Skip handles the fetching.”

To celebrate the partnership, Skip will embark on a two-day, city-wide tour of Toronto in a bright orange pet-inspired truck. Beginning June 14, the truck will offer pets and their owners Skip and PetSmart co-branded pet products including treats and toys.
