CHICAGO — Bil-Jac Foods, a premium dog food and treat producer, announced the appointment of Danny Waite as its chief commercial officer. According to the company, Waite’s leadership will help support Bil-Jac’s continued growth and innovation.
Waite has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the consumer-packaged goods and pet nutrition industries. Throughout his career, Waite has held several executive leadership positions at two high-growth pet companies, including more than two decades at Hill’s Pet Nutrition. During his time at Hill’s, he served as vice president of customer development and professional veterinary affairs, spearheading initiatives to enhance veterinary engagement, expanding retail relationships and promoting overall pet wellness.

In his role at Bil-Jac, Waite will lead commercial strategy with a focus on innovation, customer collaboration, and providing exceptional nutrition to pets and their owners.

Established in 1947, Bil-Jac specializes in premium dog nutrition with a portfolio ranging from dry kibble, soft treats and wet food to frozen meals and specialized diets. The company uses a proprietary small-batch cooking process to preserve nutrition and flavor and ensure optimal digestibility. It currently operates facilities in Berlin, Maryland and Medina, Ohio.
