TORONTO — Premium pet food company Open Farm has added Moran Tal-Gavriel, DVM, a board-certified veterinary nutritionist, to its team as part of its continued dedication to providing excellence in pet nutrition. According to Open Farm, Tal-Gavriel’s addition marks an important milestone in expanding its in-house expertise. 

Tal-Gavriel is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. She has experience in pet food formulation for dry, wet and functional products; regulatory compliance; ingredient sourcing and quality assurance; functional and metabolic innovations in pet nutrition; scientific communication and pet parent education. 

In her role at Open Farm, Tal-Gavriel will support formulation, product innovation and cross-functional collaboration across pet parent experience, food safety, quality assurance and impact. Through this, she will help ensure that Open Farm continues to provide complete-and-balanced nutrition that aligns with growing pet parent expectations for transparency and sustainability.
