SUN CITY WEST, ARIZ. — The National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) has named Gisele Atkinson as its compliance specialist. Atkinson will be responsible for member onboarding, label trainings, website reviews, National Adverse Event Reporting System (NAERS) monitoring and day-to-day member support.
Atkinson has more than 20 years of experience in the human dietary supplement industry, specializing in quality control and assurance, as well as research. She has held roles with New Chapter, Inc., Renew Life Formulas, Inc., Council for Responsible Nutrition, and Arcadia Consumer Healthcare, Inc. She also has a background in product manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and distribution. Atkinson is currently an active member of the NSF Joint Committee for Standard 173 — Dietary Supplements.

Atkinson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.
