AUSTIN, TEXAS — Pet supplement producer Pet Honesty® has formed the Science and Health Advisory Council — a group of independent experts and internal leaders aiming to guide the brand’s science-based approach to research and innovation. According to Pet Honesty, the council reinforces its vision to set new standards in pet supplements.

According to the company, the council was established to enhance its commitment to delivering science-backed products, while ensuring the brand meets the highest standards for quality and safety.

“At Pet Honesty, we believe true innovation begins with science,” said Rich Greenberg, chief executive officer of Pet Honesty. “This council will help us deliver on our promise to create products rooted in research, designed to meet the evolving needs of pets, and trusted by pet parents and veterinary professionals.”

The council’s external members include Vickie Carmella, DVM, veterinary practitioner and Vet Channel business expert; Kevin Ragland, Ph.D., companion animal scientist and university professor; Geri Katz, VMD, feline veterinary practitioner specializing in internal medicine and behavior; Don Ingram, Ph.D., canine longevity and health span expert; and Adam Rudinsky, DVM, DACVIM, tenured university associate professor. The council will provide strategic input on product development, scientific substantiation and clinical research.

“I’m honored to be part of a council that prioritizes science-driven innovation in pet wellness,” Katz said. “This group brings deep knowledge and passion for animal health, and I’m excited to support Pet Honesty’s mission to improve pets’ lives through thoughtfully developed, effective products.”
