OVERLAND PARK, KAN. — Premium pet treat and philanthropic company GivePet is launching its first-ever freeze-dried, Halloween-themed cat treats. The single-ingredient treats feature salmon or chicken breast.

Founded by Chris Dennis in 2015, GivePet is dedicated to creating healthy and palatable pet treats while also supporting animal shelters and rescue organizations. For each bag of treats sold, GivePet donates enough treats for 10 shelter pets to enjoy. 

The brand introduced holiday-themed cat treats in 2023 and everyday freeze-dried cat treats in 2024. Their newest additions — Magic Paw-tion and Halloween Purr-ty — are made from salmon and chicken, respectively. The treats contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

GivePet is also introducing its everyday freeze-dried cat treats, Meowsterpiece and Purrfect Cast, in a larger 3.5-oz bag, as well as in the original 1.25-oz size.
