ST. LOUIS — In preparation for expected growth in the pet supplement market, Native Pet™ recently announced its retail expansion into Whole Foods Market, making it now available in 522 Whole Foods locations nationwide. According to Native Pet, it is the first pet supplement brand to be carried by the natural grocery chain.

“The natural grocery loyalist is already part of Native Pet’s growing, cult-like consumer base,” said Dan Schaefer, co-founder and chief executive officer of Native Pet. “These stores already have an impressive selection of human supplements for these shoppers and their families, and the same should be true for their pets. Native Pet wants to lead the way.”

Whole Foods will now carry six of Native Pet’s vet-developed products, including all-in-one supplement The Daily, Probiotic, Bone Broth, Allergy, Calm and the brand’s latest innovation, Sockeye Salmon Oil.

Earlier this year, Native Pet also brought its products to all 443 Sprouts Farmers Market locations, initially selling three products — Goat Milk, Pumpkin and Omega Oil. As of this spring, the brand added three more products to its available assortment at all Sprouts locations, including The Daily, Probiotic and Bone Broth.
