PORT COQUITLAM, BRITISH COLUMBIA — Canadian pet nutrition company Red Dog Blue Kat (RDBK) recently introduced Everyday Raw Anywhere — a gently dried, shelf-stable raw pet food that retains 95% of essential nutrients while reducing carbon emissions by 75% compared to freeze-drying, according to the company. Using GentleDry™ Technology, the innovation aims to bring the convenience of dry food together with the nutrition of raw.

According to RDBK, its three-hour gentle drying process with GentleDry™ Technology preserves nutrients more effectively than traditional methods by locking in freshness, taste and bioavailable nutrition.

“Innovation is at the heart of RDBK,” said Inna Shekhtman, founder of RDBK. “We discovered a game-changing technology developed by a group of food scientists and engineers — originally developed for the cannabis industry to protect delicate compounds — and adapted it for raw pet food.”

Made with responsibly sourced ingredients from Canadian farms, Everyday Raw Anywhere is formulated to meet Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) guidelines, without any synthetic supplements or fillers. Designed for convenience, Everyday Raw Anywhere can be used as a treat, meal topper or a complete-and-balanced meal by adding water and stirring.

In a blind consumer trial with 50 pet parents, Everyday Raw Anywhere showed success, with 98% of the pet parents praising the smell, appearance and texture, 92% reporting their pets eagerly devoured their meals and 76% being impressed by how quickly the product rehydrated, according to RDBK. 

Everyday Raw Anywhere will be available in Canadian and US retailers this spring.
