NEW YORK — Ollie has teamed up with rePurpose Global to help remove plastic waste from the environment. According to Ollie, the collaboration is part of its dedication to sustainability and mission to give back to the environment.
Ollie will support repurpose Global’s plastic recovery project in the coastal community of Paraíso de Ballenas in Colombia. The companies estimate the project will remove 37,500 lbs of plastic waste from the area, helping restore the region and protect its ecosystem. Each Ollie membership and purchase will go directly to the partnership, funding local waste workers and reducing plastic pollution.
