COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS — Texas A&M University (TAMU) will host its 10th Annual Extruded Pet Foods & Treats short course from July 7 to 11, providing attendees with extensive education on the principles of extruders and support systems, as well as a review on current extrusion practices. The course will be held in-person at TAMU’s Emerging Technologies Building in College Station and live online. 

The program will cover information on extruded pet foods, as well as extruded and non-extruded pet treats, material handling, preconditioning, automation, product analysis, meat handling, drying, cooling, enrobing, food, safety, shelf life and more. The course will also offer attendees up to 30 professional development hours. 

Registration is open until July 4, with early bird registration available until June 8.
