BURLINGTON, MASS. — Wellness Pet Company is currently exhibiting at Global Pet Expo 2025, unveiling new dry dog foods, dental treats and wet cat foods. These new products reinforce the company’s mission to provide high-quality pets with variety and solutions to specific nutritional needs, while also supporting pet wellness, according to the company.

According to research shared by Wellness, skin and gastrointestinal issues have been cited as the two reasons pet owners bring their dog to the vet. Seeking to help address these health issues, the company has expanded its dog food offerings with new Wellness® CORE+™ Sensitive Skin & Stomach and Wellness® Complete Health® Sensitive Skin & Stomach. Both products are highly digestible, formulated with salmon, dietary fiber, and pre-, pro- and postbiotics to support digestive health. Additionally, Omega 3 and 6 provided through salmon oil helps support skin and coat health.

Building upon its WHIMZEES products, Wellness has also launched WHIMZEES Freshzees™, a soft dental treat to serve as a more comfortable dental treat option for soft chewers or older pups. The treat can help freshen breath by way of parsley and also help enhance dental health when chewed daily, targeting plaque, tartar and gum health. WHIMZEES Freshzees™ are available in extra-small, small and medium sizes.

Regarding nutrition for felines, the company has introduced new varieties of its wet cat foods. Wellness Appetizing Entrées™ are now available in 2.8-oz pouches, as well as a variety pack that includes four chicken and tuna recipes in shredded and flake formats. According to the company, these recipes can help promote hydration in felines. The company has also expanded its Wellness® Complete Health® Tasty Textures Variety Pack for cats, offering three recipes in gravies and minced formats for cats who enjoy fish recipes.

“Wellness Pet is continuing to focus product innovations on proven nutrition that targets pets’ nutritional needs, which commonly include skin and stomach sensitivities. Our new CORE+ and Complete Health Sensitive Skin & Stomach recipes are supporting a healthy coat and digestive system, which are key to dogs’ overall health,” said Danielle Bernal, DVM, global veterinarian with Wellness Pet Company. “These dry dog options, alongside our new softer dental treats and hydrating wet cat formulas, showcase our ongoing dedication to providing treats and food that cater to pets’ individual preferences while promoting complete wellbeing.”
