STAMFORD, CONN. — Tomorrow, Global Pet Expo 2025 will begin. Hosted by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA), the pet industry tradeshow will run through March 28 and take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. According to show organizers, the event will bring together more than 20,000 pet industry professionals with more than 1,000 exhibitors.

“Global Pet Expo continues to set the standard for delivering the latest in pet innovation, business connections and word-class education for pet professionals from around the globe,” said Pete Scott, president and chief executive officer of the APPA. “This year, we’re thrilled to introduce expanded specialty areas and new educational opportunities, reinforcing our commitment to empowering pet professionals with the tools and insights they need to succeed. As we unveil the latest trends and product innovations, APPA is proud to be the industry’s leading platform for business and thought leadership.”

This year’s show will include additional specialty areas of the show floor, more thought leadership and educational programs, a new keynote series, new show floor experiences and much more.

New thought leadership will provide a variety of insights. The Spotlight Stage will host insightful panel discussions, pitch competitions and award ceremonies. The Catalyst Stage is the Supplier Pavilion will aim to foster connections, allowing attendees to learn and network with leadership from top industry suppliers. The Sustainability Theater, led by the PSC, will provide education of industry sustainability, networking opportunities and more. And the Tails of Joy Theater will celebrate positive social impact of organizations like the Animal Policy Group, Joybound People & Pets, Pets in the Classroom, Pet Advocacy Network and the Human Animal Bond Research Institute (HABRI).

“At PIDA, we are dedicated to strengthening relationships between pet product manufacturers and distributors, and Global Pet Expo remains the premier venue for fostering those critical connections,” said Celeste Powers, president of the PIDA. “The enhancements to this year’s show, from the expanded Supplier Pavilion to new thought leadership opportunities, reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting the success and sustainability of the pet industry.
