ORLANDO, FLA. — Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) and Retail.pet announced they will be hosting an award ceremony during Global Pet Expo at 4 p.m. on March 26 at the PSC Stage, booth #842. The ceremony will recognize PSC-accredited brands making a meaningful impact through sustainable business practices, as well as top-performing retailers engaging with these brands through Retail.pet’s training platform.
The ceremony will highlight nine leading PSC-accredited brands, including Austin and Kat, Earth Animal, Instinct, Natural Pet Food Group, NutriSource, Open Farm, Petcurean, Primal and West Paw.
“For sustainability to truly thrive, the connection between consumers and retailers is key — it’s what steers the ship,” said Jim Lamancusa, chief executive officer of PSC. “While brands play a crucial role through their ingredients, packaging and corporate responsibility, their impact is only maximized when that story reaches retailers and, ultimately, consumers. That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with Retail.Pet to showcase the success of nine PSC Accredited brands.
“By hosting this event on our Sustainability Stage just before happy hour, we’re creating an opportunity to not only share these powerful stories but also celebrate our collective progress,” he added.
Additionally, Retail.pet will honor the top retailer for training engagement within each brand and recognize top performing sales representatives who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to brand education and advocacy.
“Sustainability isn’t just a trend — it’s a commitment to doing better,” said Angela Lavelle, director of Retail.pet. “I admire the brands that go beyond products and profits, and make sustainability a core part of their mission. As consumers and industry professionals, we must always consider how our choices impact the world around us. That’s why we’re delighted to partner with the Pet Sustainability Coalition to educate and empower pet retailers to make a difference. We are excited to celebrate the brands leading the way and to spark meaningful conversations on sustainability.”
All brands and retailers in the pet industry are welcome and encouraged to join the award ceremony.
