DENVER — Pet food and treat co-manufacturer Alphia shared March 19 that it has acquired a newly constructed manufacturing plant in Pittsburg, Texas.

“This acquisition represents an important milestone for Alphia as we continue to execute our long-term growth plan,” said David McLain, chief executive officer of Alphia. “We are excited to integrate this facility into our network and leverage its efficient design and strategic location to provide best-in-class solutions to our customers.”

The highly experienced workforce at the facility will become Alphia’s employees, ensuring continued operations. Additionally, Alphia plans to expand the site with additional employees and a capital investment to increase production capacity and enhance the plant’s capabilities, while also ensuring the company’s dedication to quality and food safety.
