MOUNT PLEASANT, TEXAS — Mid America Pet Food has announced new additions to its executive team. The parent company and manufacturer of VICTOR Super Premium Pet Food and Nature’s Logic brands has appointed Brandon McKay to the role of chief financial officer, Dan Baker to chief supply chain officer and Collin Rooney to the newly created role of vice president of financial planning and analytics (FP&A) and data analytics.

As the new CFO, McKay brings more than 20 years of experience leading finance, accounting, information technology and accounts receivable teams for consumer-packaged goods brands including Flagstone Foods and General Mills. McKay will lead the finance team to continue driving growth for the company’s brands. 

After leading Mid America’s supply chain on an interim basis for the past year, Baker is now officially joining the company’s executive team. During the past year, Baker has driven change across the company’s supply chain in the areas of operations, quality, safety, customer service, performance tracking and procurement. Baker has 30 years of tenure in the pet food industry, including time at Mars Pet Nutrition and Red Collar Pet Foods.

Another strong addition to the company’s finance team is Rooney, who has been with the company since 2022, in his newly created role. His responsibilities will include further developing the brand’s FP&A and data analytics capabilities.
