LANGLEY, BRITISH COLUMBIA — Ancestral Natural Pet Food recently announced the launch of its first product — Ancestral Bites. The dog treats are formulated with functional ingredients that promote healthy digestion, mental wellbeing, vitality and overall health.

“If we can help extend the life of one dog, we are happy, if we can do this for more dogs, even better,” said Eduardo Santana, operations director and mechanical engineer at Ancestral Natural Pet Food.  “Ancestral Natural Pet Food is about helping animals and humans have more time together to enjoy life and share companionship.”

Ancestral Bites are designed to target specific health needs, including Calm & Comfort to reduce anxiety, Performance to support recovery for active dogs, Health Fusion to serve as a natural multivitamin, and Sharp Mind, which is 100% plant-based and formulated to boost mental clarity. 

Despite being new to the market, Ancestral’s company and products have been in works for years, according to the company. With the help of a team of veterinarians and nutritional specialists, Owner Luis Baza created Ancestral with the goal to provide pets with natural, minimally processed food for optimal nutrition. 

“What we put in our body can fuel us or harm us, and the same goes for our pets,” Baza said. “I have seen firsthand how natural, raw and carefully curated food can heal dogs and cats, prolong their lives, and enhance their mental wellbeing. In addition to the treats, Ancestral plans to launch Senior Care, Happy Tummy and cat treats, as well as raw food for cats and dogs, soon.
