OVERLAND PARK, KAN. — Premium pet treat and philanthropic company GivePet recently launched its first-ever Freeze-Dried Dog Treats. According to the company, the treats are formulated with simple, high-quality ingredients and will support its efforts of giving back to shelter pets.

Founded by Chris Dennis in 2015, GivePet is dedicated to creating healthy and palatable pet treats while also supporting animal shelters and rescue organizations. The company offers a variety of treats, from baked biscuits to soft training treats and soft-baked treats, all formulated with whole food, quality ingredients and packaged in eye-catching themed packaging. For each bag of treats sold, GivePet donates enough treats for 10 shelter pets to enjoy.

GivePet’s new out-spaced themed freeze-dried dog treats include three varieties: Astromutt, Mars Rover and Space Cowboy. Each treat is made with just a single ingredient: Astromutt is a wild-caught salmon treat, Mars Rover is a chicken breast treat, and Space Cowboy is a beef liver treat. Like all of GivePet’s other treats, the new treats are never made with animals that have been treated with antibiotics, and they are also free of artificial colors and flavors and preservatives. They are produced in small batches in the United States.

“We wanted to introduce freeze-dried treat options for the plethora of benefits they provide for both pets and their owners,” Dennis said. “They have high nutritional value, require minimal processing and are a high-reward treat.”

The company will showcase the new treats at booth No. 1069 during Global Pet Expo 2025 from March 26 to 28 in Orlando, Fla.

These freeze-dried dog treats build upon GivePet’s continued treat innovations. During Global Pet Expo 2024, the company debuted its Freeze-Dried Cat Treats, which won first place in the Cat category of the New Product Showcase Best in Show Awards.
