GREENFIELD, IND. — Elanco Animal Health Inc. recently announced the launch of Pet Protect™ — a line of veterinarian-formulated supplements for dogs. In response to continuous growth of the pet supplement market, the line is specifically designed to cater to the diverse health needs of dogs, according to Elanco.

Developed with more than 25 years of veterinary experience, Pet Protect supplements use science-backed ingredients that have been proven and studied, according to Elanco. The supplements also carry the quality seal by the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC).

The Pet Protect product line offers a variety of targeted supplements, including:

  • Hip & Joint, which uses Synovi G3 to offer a proactive way to support healthy hip and joint function in active dogs. 
  • Multivitamin, which is a daily soft chew formula that supports everyday health and wellness, immune and bone strength, energy and healthy digestion. 
  • Digestive Health for Dogs, which uses Lactoquil to support gastrointestinal health and microbial balance in dogs and helps in times of normal digestive upset. 
  • Calming Fast Acting, which contains the company’s Tranquilify™ blend to help support situational stress, positive behavior in times of stress, and curb destructive behavior in dogs.
  • Skin Health, which is the only over-the-counter dog supplement that uses phytoceramide to help regulate hydration, supports a healthy skin barrier and supports a normal inflammatory response in dogs, according to Elanco.
