SEATTLE — Human-grade pet food and treat company Wet Noses shared Feb. 19 that it is expanding its production capabilities to include soft baked dog treat production. According to the company, the expansion reinforces its commitment to supporting innovation and goal to provide all dogs with human-grade products.

“Innovation is at the heart of everything we do,” said Michael-Paul Cummings, director of manufacturing at Wet Noses. “Expanding into Soft Baked treats is more than just adding a new texture — it’s about elevating what’s possible in human-grade pet nutrition while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.”

To support its expansion into soft baked treats, Wet Noses has enhanced its USDA-certified, SQF Level 3-certified, human-grade facility near Seattle. The facility now includes a small batch specialized soft baked production process designed to ensure ingredient integrity and precise moisture control without the need for artificial preservatives or fillers, according to Wet Noses.

This soft baked treat production process aligns with Wet Noses’ dedication to bringing human food manufacturing standards to pet food. Each step of the company’s production, from sourcing to final packaging, meets the same rigorous standards as those in human food, according to the company.
