AUSTIN, TEXAS — Dog food brand Maev announced its partnership with tennis star Jessica Pegula to promote high-quality nutrition for dogs. According to Maev, Pegula is the perfect partner to support the brand’s mission of fueling dogs with the same high-quality nutrition that powers human performance.
As a professional athlete, Pegula follows a rigorous diet to optimize her performance, and is just as intentional with the health and wellness of her three dogs.
“I take my nutrition seriously,” Pegula said. “I fuel my body with whole, high-quality ingredients—so why wouldn’t I do the same for my dogs? That’s why I feed them Maev. I’ve seen incredible improvements in their digestion, skin and coat health, dental health, and energy levels.”
Pegula’s passion for pups doesn’t stop at her own, as she and her husband, Taylor Gahagen, founded A Lending Paw — a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, training and placing service dogs with individuals in need. The organization focuses on matching trained dogs with people facing disabilities, PTSD, and other challenges, providing them with life-changing companionship and support.
“Every athlete knows that winning isn’t just about what you do on the court; it’s about the consistency, devotion, and fuel you put in off the court,” said Katie Spies, founder and chief executive officer of Maev. “Jessica knows the importance of daily nutrition, not just for herself, but for her dogs. We're excited to collaborate with her to demonstrate that diet is the most important choice you can make for your dog’s day-to-day and long-term health.”
