NEW YORK — Known for its “smart collar” for dogs, tech company Fi has expanded its offerings with the announcement of its new line of supplements for dogs. According to Fi, the supplements are designed to fill significant gaps in essential vitamins and minerals that many dog foods do not provide.

The vet-formulated powder supplements are designed to target pups’ specific health needs. Varieties include Calming, Skin & Coat, Hip & Joint and an 8-in-1 Formula. All the supplements meet National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) approval, according to Fi.

Designed to help with dogs’ anxiety or restlessness, the Calming supplement is formulated with CBD, magnesium, valerian root and L-theanine. Containing Omega 3 fatty acids, biotin, zinc and other vitamins and minerals, the Skin & Coat supplement is designed to help dogs with skin sensitivities and enhance overall skin health.

In order to support mobility, flexibility and connective tissue health, the Hip & Joint supplement is formulated with krill, green-lipped mussel, glucosamine HCI and methylsulfonylmethane (MSM). Intended to serve as a daily overall health booster, the 8-in-1 Formula contains 19 active ingredients that support an array of issues dogs may suffer from.

According to Fi, the launch of these supplements is part of its commitment to leveraging technology and science to help customers care for their dogs smarter. The supplements can be paired with the company’s “smart collar,” allowing pet parents to track how the products support their dog’s health by monitoring activity levels, sleep and other health data.
