LIVONIA, MICH. — Independent pet franchise Pet Supplies Plus (PSP) was recently named Top Pet Franchise by Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500®. This is the ninth consecutive year PSP has received the recognition.

Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 is the world’s most comprehensive franchise ranking, according to the magazine. The list ranks franchises based on unit growth, brand power and financial strength, stability and support. The 43^rd Franchise 500 list ranks PSP as No. 22.

“The companies named to this year's list showed us how being resilient, supportive, and nimble can help navigate extraordinary challenges and also underscore the grit and innovation that define entrepreneurship,” said Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur.

Alongside the Franchise 500 ranking, PSP was also included in Franchise Time's ranking of the 40 Smartest-Growing Franchises.

To further its growth, PSP acquired Wag N’ Wash in February 2022, expanding its offerings to include grooming services. In December, the combined retailers detailed that they had collectively signed more than 115 franchise agreements throughout 2022.
