NEPTUNE CITY, NJ. — Cadet, a dog chew and treat brand by Central Garden & Pet, unveiled its new line of natural, highly digestible, long-lasting dog chews. The Bully Hide chews use patent-pending technology and feature a bully stick exterior with a beef hide interior.

Cadet leveraged its 35-year-long experience to create the new chew line, which includes three varieties: rolls, chews and sticks. The chews are formulated with fewer ingredients compared to traditional rawhide chews and are highly palatable, according to the brand.

“Cadet is thrilled to launch a new line of bully chews that combines the whole, premium ingredients and flavors dogs crave at an accessible price point pet parents love,” said Glen S. Axelrod, president and chief executive officer of Cadet. “With our new patented innovation, we can offer a limited-ingredient chew made from grass-fed, free-range cattle that is more digestible than traditional rawhide.”

The chew line includes Cadet® TORO® Bully Hide Rolls, Cadet® TORO® Bully Hide Chews and Cadet® Bully Hide Sticks. Each chew is rolled into an elongated shape and oven-roasted, offering a long-lasting chewing experience for dogs.

“As pet parents ourselves, we at Cadet can certainly relate to the 76% of those who use treats as a means to spend quality time with their pets,” said Kimberly Cassar, senior vice president of marketing, Cadet. “This wholesome, indulgent dog chew option is sure to play a part in creating special bonding moments for years to come.”

The new chews join more than 700 domestic and foreign patents awarded to Central Garden & Pet’s pet brands. The bully chews are available at select retailers, including Costco, Walmart and Amazon.
