NEPTUNE, NJ. — Automated Control Concepts (ACC), a provider of control solutions for manufacturing, announced on Oct. 24 the appointment of Rick Makos to chief revenue officer. Makos currently serves on the board of directors at ACC.

Founded in 1983, ACC specializes in Industry 4.0 solutions, leveraging technology and data to help optimize manufacturing. The company serves a variety of industries, including life sciences, biotechnology, medical device, water/wastewater, oil, gas, chemical, consumer packaged goods, food and beverage and others.

According to ACC, Makos’ appointment will enable it to accelerate business growth and market expansion.

Makos has more than 30 years of experience in digital transformation, data warehousing, advanced analytics and more. He has helped implement innovation and solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Since December 2021, Makos has served on ACC’s board of directors and as advisor to Sverica during its acquisition of ACC.

At ACC, Makos will help expand revenue strategies, manage ACC’s business development activities, and facilitate sales with new and existing clients.
