LONDON — Beco, an environmentally focused pet brand, offering pet food and supplies, has achieved B Corporation certification. The pet company originally launched in 2009 and has since been dedicated to achieving sustainable operations to provide consumers with more environmentally friendly pet products.

“I have always believed that business could be used as a force for good, making a meaningful impact on our communities, environment, and broader industry,” said George Bramble, founder of Beco. “Looking after our pets and planet has always been the central pillar for Beco, and I could not be prouder to achieve B Corp certification at our first attempt. This is only the start of our journey and B Corp will be providing us with a strong framework to build on and create more sustainable futures for us all.”

Currently, Beco’s pet food products span natural dry and wet dog and puppy foods, formulated with responsibly sourced ingredients, and plant-and insect-based dog treats. The company has a presence in more than 40 countries, with a focus in the United Kingdom and Europe. Beco also offers a variety of pet toys and supplies made with renewable and recycled materials.

Beco is also Climate Neutral Certified, offsetting its carbon emissions through a variety of environmental initiatives.
