ST. FRANCIS, WIS. — Charlee Bear, a pet treat brand by Gott Pet Products, unveiled new treat flavors to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The new flavors expand upon the brand’s existing Grain Free Crunch and Original Crunch pet treat lines.
The company introduced Peanut Butter & Banana and Beef Liver & Cheddar flavors to its Grain Free Crunch line, and a Bacon & Egg flavor to its Original Crunch line. The new recipes are formulated similarly to Charlee Bear’s other treats and do not contain corn, soy, and artificial flavors, preservatives or colors.
As well as debuting new treats, the company is also partnering with the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County (HAWS), a local animal welfare organization. Through the partnership, Charlee Bear will sponsor a portion of dog adoption fees beginning Aug. 15. Each adopted dog will receive a limited-edition anniversary accessory from Charlee Bear, as well as a free bag of treats.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating such an important milestone,” said Patrick McGarry, executive director of Charlee Bear. “We wanted to do something special to commemorate, and what better way than to give back to our local community and to the loyal customers who have supported us throughout this journey. We look forward to many more years of bringing retailers and distributors high quality and delicious treats dogs love.”
The company is also launching a social media campaign — #TreatTuesday — throughout August to give away treats to 30 of its customers.
