AUBRUN, KY. — ORIJEN®, a brand by Champion Petfoods, announced May 4 the official launch of its new premium dog food line: AMAZING GRAINS™. The new line is formulated with non-GMO whole grains, like oats, quinoa and chia, to provide dogs with essential nutrients.

AMAZING GRAINS boasts a high level of protein at 38%, of which about 90% is derived from animal ingredients, to support muscle maintenance in dogs. Similar to ORIJEN’s other formulas, AMAZING GRAINS includes fresh or raw animal proteins within the first five ingredients, including meat, organs and bones to create a more biologically appropriate diet. The line is also formulated with prebiotics, probiotics, and soluble and insoluble fiber to support gut and digestive health, as well as Omega 3 fatty acids from wild-caught pollock to support immune and skin and coat health.

ORIJEN’s AMAZING GRAINS is available in five varieties: Original, REGIONAL RED®, SIX FISH®, Puppy and Puppy Large. Each variety is available in 22.5-lb and 4-lb bags, except for Puppy Large, which is formulated specifically for large-breed puppies.

During Global Pet Expo 2022, Champion Petfoods briefly showcased the AMAZING GRAINS line, which is now available at Petco, Amazon, Chewy and pet retailers.

In conjunction with the official launch of AMAZING GRAINS, ORIJEN launched the ORIJEN Amazing Challenge, an initiative to inspire dog parents to support their dogs with plenty of exercise and nutritious food. The initiative includes a collaboration with Shawn Booth, celebrity fitness trainer, activity ideas for dog owners, and a $10,000 sweepstakes.
