IRVING, TEXAS — Darling Ingredients Inc. announced last week the appointment of Sandy Dudley as executive vice president of renewables and US specialty operations, effective immediately.

Dudley most recently served as senior vice president of renewables and strategy for Darling Ingredients, where she worked to achieve growth in renewable diesel production.

"Sandy's extensive knowledge of the renewable fuels industry and low-carbon feedstock supply gives her a unique and valuable perspective that has advanced Darling as a leader in sustainable ingredients," said Randall C. Stuewe, chairman and chief executive officer of Darling Ingredients. "Her contributions have benefited Darling's business around the world, and we look forward to her business acumen continuing to drive results in this new leadership position."

In her new role, Dudley will manage the company’s renewable fuel strategy and specialty operations, which includes nutrient production for wet pet food manufacturers, organic fertilizers, bakery feeds and refining.

She will also help grow Darling’s restaurant services business and its related Diamond Green Diesel (DGD) joint venture.

Dudley has worked with Darling Ingredients since 2015. Her past experience with the company also includes evaluating business segments, developing strategic plans, and standardizing commercial transactions.

Before joining Darling, Dudley served in various commercial and strategic roles with ConAgra Foods and Tenaska Marketing Ventures.
