CINCINNATI — Two brands using ProAmpac’s flexible packaging solutions, one of which is a premium pet food brand, have been awarded with the 2020 American Graphic Design Awards™ through trade magazine Graphic Design USA (GDUSA).

SquarePet received the award for its Squarely Natural dog and cat food products, which are packaged in ProAmpac’s durable quad-seal pouches. GDUSA stated the award “showcases the incredibly expansive ways in which graphic design shapes business, society, products, services, commerce and culture.”

“These awards reflect ProAmpac’s deep commitment to our customers’ brands by ensuring compelling graphic designs are coupled with captivating print quality,” said Adam Grose, chief commercial officer of ProAmpac.

SquarePet’s Squarely Natural dog and cat food products are veterinarian-formulated to include a single, primary protein source, one primary carbohydrate source and one healthy oil. These limited-ingredient foods are available in two recipes for dogs — Lamb Meal and Brown Rice and Turkey Meal and Brown Rice — and one Chicken and Brown Rice recipe for cats.

ProAmpac partners with six award-winning design centers to help its clients develop, illustrate, render and prototype new packaging design ideas. This is through a collaborative creative process called IDEA — which stands for Innovation Design Engineering and Action — through its Design and Sample Lab (DASL) and MAKR by DASL service.
