STERLING, ILL. — Sterling Systems & Controls, Inc. has officially opened its new testing facility for bulk powders, solids and other materials.

The test facility spans more than 18,000 square feet and features particle size reduction, feeding, dust collection and other equipment capabilities for both pneumatic and static applications.

The facility can test for flowability, density and other characteristics. The company’s weighing, batching, bulk bag handling, processing control and automation systems serve a variety of industries, including pet food and feed manufacturing, feed mills, food processing, rubber compounding and others.
