LOS ANGELES — Jinx announced April 12 the launch of two new product categories to its portfolio of premium, dog food and treats. The new additions include two varieties of meal toppers and a limited-ingredient dental chew in two sizes.

“Introducing Meal Toppers and Dental Chews to our superfood portfolio felt like the natural next step to help us achieve our goal of becoming an all-encompassing dog wellness brand, rooted in nutrition, that helps modern dogs live their best lives,” said Terri Rockovich, co-founder and chief executive officer of Jinx. “Both Toppers and Dental Chews are delicious and nutritious options that elevate mealtime and enhance post-mealtime rituals.”

According to the company, the new products were designed with the understanding that dogs are omnivores, and that the lifestyles of modern dogs impact their nutritional needs. The recipes pair fresh proteins with plant-based ingredients to give pets the nutritional composition they need to thrive. Jinx products have been created and tested by animal formulators and nutritionists in the pet nutrition space, resulting in foods that are palatable and easily digestible.

The Jinx Salmon On Top and Chicken On Top Flavor Boosting Meal Toppers were created to bring variety to pets’ meals. The Jinx meal toppers are all-natural with no artificial flavors or colors, and include only two ingredients: freeze-dried wild-caught salmon or freeze-dried free-range chicken and a natural preservative. The meal toppers can be fed to dogs across all life-stages and are intended for meal enhancement purposes.

The Jinx All Smiles limited-ingredient dental chews are made with four ingredients: sweet potato, chicken, honey and peppermint oil. These chews can be consumed daily due to the formula’s limited number of ingredients and lower calorie content. All Smiles offers a long chew time and higher-than-average dissolution according to the company. The dental chews come in two sizes ― regular for dogs 10 to 20 lbs and large for dogs 25 to 75 lbs.

The Jinx brand launched in early 2020 with three dog food formulas containing a mix of high-quality animal- and plant-based ingredients. Earlier this year, the company added limited-ingredient dog biscuits to its line.
