NEW YORK — Celebrity veterinarian Dr. Marty Goldstein has added puppy and senior formulas to his Nature’s Blend line of freeze-dried raw dog foods. The formulas — Healthy Growth and Active Vitality — incorporate multiple protein sources, whole-food ingredients and are free from grains or additives.

Dr. Marty supplemented the original Nature’s Blend dog food formula, which includes turkey, beef, salmon and duck as the first four ingredients, with added nutrients to create diets appropriate for growing puppies as well as geriatric dogs.

Nature’s Blend Healthy Growth for puppies includes goat milk to support healthy brain, bone and muscle development. The Active Vitality formula features tart cherry and green lipped mussels to support mobility and immune system health.

Dr. Marty Pets offers its dog nutrition products through a direct-to-consumer model, and recently added distribution to pet specialty stores across the United States through Phillips Pet Food & Supplies and Pet Supplies Plus.
