BOULDER, COLO. — Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) has opened registration for its fourth-annual Impact Unleashed conference, which will be held virtually Dec. 3 and 4.

The two-day conference will include keynote speakers and lectures from sustainability specialists and partners, hands-on workshops, network building opportunities and a virtual exhibit hall.

“The positive energy, passion, and overwhelming sense of shared purpose in the room is unlike anything I’ve experienced at a pet industry event,” said Michael Baker, president of Pet Food Experts.

The 2019 Impact Unleashed conference drew sold-out capacity from pet industry companies. Due to the virtual nature of this year’s event, PSC expects participation to be even higher this year, estimating more than 500 will attend.

“The event not only inspires new visions of future opportunities but also instills in the attendees a sense of ownership over our collective responsibility," said Cherish Morrison, senior category manager at Mud Bay. "In my 14+ years in the pet industry, this is the best example I’ve seen of companies working together, shedding the competitive nature of retail and aligning on meaningful shared environmental goals."

This year’s event will be sponsored by KONG, Earth Animal, Morris Packaging, Peel Plastic Products, Mud Bay, MFiber, Veramaris, Pet Food Experts, and a few other pet industry companies.

PSC members will receive 50% ticket sales for the 2020 Impact Unleashed event. The first 200 registrants will receive a complimentary goodie bag from PSC’s brand partners, including natural foods and custom apparel.
