SILOAM SPRINGS, ARK. — Scott Salmon on Feb. 21 joined Simmons Foods as president of the company’s pet food business.

Previously, Salmon was the chief customer officer at Kellogg Company, where he spent 22 years in sales. During some of his time with Kellogg, he led the company’s largest sales team in the United States.

Salmon has served on the board of directors for the American Heart Association. He founded the Arkansas Chapter of Men Go Red and has served as co-chair of Women Go Red. Currently, Salmon sits on the board of the California Grocers Association Educational Foundation and the Missouri State University Executive Advisory Board of the David Glass College of Business.

Salmon graduated from Missouri State University.

Simmons Pet Food is a North American private-label and contract manufacturer of wet and dry pet food and treats. The company operates three wet pet food production facilities, a dry pet food facility and a treats production facility, as well as a flexible packaging facility. These operations are in Northwest Arkansas, Kansas, New Jersey and Ontario, Canada.
