DELPHOS, Ohio — D&D Ingredient Distributors, Inc., announced Jan. 27 the opening of its newest premix facility for pet food and feed applications. The facility, located in Delphos, includes both small-batch and large-scale capacities, automated micro-ingredient proportioning, and other state-of-the-art blending and mixing technologies.

"Demand is growing for the reliable supply of precision formulated and manufactured custom premixes," said Arnie Miller, president and CEO of D&D. "We're helping our partners in the feed and pet food industries to streamline their supply chains."

Aside from the automated precision micro-proportioning systems, D&D’s new premix facility also includes a four-ton twin-shaft horizontal mixer to produce homogenous premixes.

Founded in 1976, D&D specializes in custom premixing of private label products for the pet food and feed industries. The company produces ingredients for dairy animals, beef cattle, pigs, poultry, horses, pets and other species and supplies manufacturers across the US, as well as processors in 30 countries outside of the US.
