LONG BEACH, Calif. — Redbarn Pet Products has revamped its website to focus on the safety of its treat production process, quality assurance methods and providing pet nutrition tips. A new feature on the site allows pet owners to select Redbarn chew products based on health needs, chew level and flavor preferences.

"Our top manufacturing priorities are pet safety and product quality and we felt it was time for our website to match those same priorities," said Jeff Baikie, co-founder of Redbarn. "While it showcases our product assortment in a modern, user-friendly manner, we ultimately designed it with a focus on pet parent education."

As more and more pet food and treat brands embrace transparency, Redbarn has jumped on the bandwagon with another new website feature “decoding the label,” which provides a list of ingredients found in its products along with their definitions.

There is also a number of short, documentary-style videos on the website featuring everything from the company’s co-founders and employees to quality assurance and manufacturing practices.

Redbarn Pet Products is headquartered in Long Beach with a manufacturing plant in Great Bend, Kansas. The company, started by two childhood best friends, Jeff Baikie and Howard Bloxam, manufacturers pet food, treats, and chews and has more than 200 dog and cat products.
