LOS ANGELES — An Instagram cat-celebrity by the name of Nala is the face of a new super-premium pet food line called Love, Nala. The pet food was created by Perfection Pet Foods as part of an overarching campaign spearheaded by Creative Labs and Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to raise awareness about pet health, nutrition and animal rescue. 

The pet food line includes dry kibble and wet pâté formulas. The kibble line includes three grain-free recipes: chicken and chickpea for adult cats, chicken and chickpea for kittens, and salmon and chickpea. Love, Nala’s two pâté cat foods include tuna and salmon and chicken and pumpkin formulas.

"We created Love, Nala with the hopes to continue to share the love that we have received from our supportive community with generations of pets to come," said Varisiri “Pookie” Methachittiphan and Shannon Ellis, Nala’s pet parents. "We have been involved in the entire process of the making of Love, Nala and it was our mission to make something that was nutritious, safe, and affordable without compromising the quality of ingredients."

The pet food line is meant to offer high-quality, meat-first nutrition that is affordable and carefully formulated with purposeful ingredients, according to Love, Nala.

Visalia, California-based Perfection Pet Foods produces private label and co-manufactured pet food and treats.

CAA is an entertainment and sports agency, and Creative Labs is a Canadian partner of CAA that works with brands to identify product development opportunities.
