PETALUMA, Calif. — Treatibles teamed up with Villalobos Rescue Center (VRC) to release a new sweet potato soft chew for dogs, Tater’s Sweet Potato Tots. The supplements are formulated with broad-spectrum hemp oil, valerian root, passionflower extract and chamomile flower, according to Treatibles.

To benefit VRC, Treatibles will donate $1 for each package of Tater’s Sweet Potato Tots sold toward VRC’s veterinary expenses, which average $500,000 annually. The supplements are also being promoted by a brand ambassador, a VRC Pit Bull rescue named Tater Tot.

“Treatibles changed Tater’s life for the better,” said Mariah Harmony, Tater Tot’s owner. “Physically, he began to enjoy his workday, and his obsessive behavior subsided tremendously. To this day, he sleeps peacefully through the night.”

The treats are vegan to avoid allergies in some dogs, Treatibles said. Each chew contains 3 mg of CBD to ease anxiety, promote joint health and mobility and control inflammation.

Julianna Carella, CEO and founder of Treatibles, said, “We thought it was only fitting to develop a soft chew that not only honors [Tater Tot’s] preference, but his changing needs, as well. These chews provide extra support for calming,” she added.
