VERO BEACH, Fla. — Caru, a pet food company using 100% human-grade ingredients in each of its natural stew products, released two new formulas of stews for cats and reformulations to its stews for dogs at SuperZoo 2019.

The new formulas, Wild Cod & Chicken and Wild Haddock & Wild Salmon, join Caru’s existing line of stews for cats, which debuted during Global Pet Expo in March 2019.

The new products are complete-and-balanced diets that include chunks of fish and poultry in hydrating gravies packaged in BPA-free, recyclable Tetra Pak cartons. Along with Caru’s existing line of stews for cats, they are sold in 6-oz. cartons for single-serve feeding.

Formulas also feature traceable ingredients and are free from artificial preservatives, grain, corn, soy and GMOs.

“With these new stews, we are hoping more cats and kittens can enjoy the all-natural food Caru has to offer,” says CEO & Co-Founder Adrian Pettyan. “We know many cats have food sensitivities or aversions so it was important for us to develop a wide variety to please all cats, no matter their dietary needs.”

Caru has also reformulated its Daily Dish and Original lines of stews for dogs to include added taurine for heart health.

Caru’s stews for cats and dogs are small-batch processed in a human-grade facility in the US.
