CEDARBURG, Wis. — American Natural Premium (ANP) introduced two new legume-free dog food products, Turkey with Pumpkin and Triple Protein with Ancestral Grains.

Turkey with Pumpkin is formulated from deboned turkey and pumpkin for digestive support. It is fortified with Omega-3 fatty acids to improve skin and coat health, as well as prebiotics and probiotics to support the immune system.

The formula provides at least 25% crude protein and 14% crude fat, and no more than 4.5% crude fiber and 10% moisture.

ANP’s Triple Protein with Ancestral Grains formula includes deboned chicken, deboned turkey and pork meal, as well as a blend of non-GMO and gluten-free ancient grains. It also includes prebiotics and probiotics to support immune and digestive health, and Omega-3 fatty acids for skin and coat health.

“Ancient grains are nutrient-rich and provide a wide range of health benefits from improving digestion to boosting immunity,” said Marc Large, brand director for ANP.

The Triple Protein formula is appropriate for all life stages. It provides at least 24% crude protein and 14% crude fat, and no more than 4.5% crude fiber and 10% moisture.

Both formulas are free from legumes, peas and potatoes, include meat as the first ingredient, and are manufactured in the US. They are also free from corn, wheat, soy and artificial ingredients.

ANP dry dog foods are available in 4-lb., 12-lb. and 33-lb. bags.

ANP products are produced at a USDA-inspected facility, ingredients are frequently sourced from local farmers and formulas are processed in small batches at lower temperatures.

The pet food company was founded in 1998 by Wisconsin residents Gene Large and Jennifer Burlo.
