RONKONKOMA, N.Y.— The Nature’s Bounty Co., a human health and wellness company, has launched Mac+Maya, a brand of premium supplements for dogs. The functional treats are soft chews formulated to support joint health, digestion, healthy skin and coat, relieve stress and provide all-around nutrition.

Each supplement is free of wheat, artificial flavors and colors. There are currently five formulas: daily multivitamin with breath support; joint support with glucosamine; omega skin and coat with salmon oil; digestive health with probiotics; and calming aid with melatonin. All five products are available on Amazon.com and will be added to all Meijer stores by late March 2019. Mac+Maya will donate a percentage of every sale to America’s VetDogs and the Guide Dog Foundation.
According to Packaged Facts’ Pet Supplements Market in the US, 6th Edition, the pet supplement industry is growing alongside the human health and wellness market and is now a $565 million industry.
