The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warns pet owners in Nebraska feeding A+ Answers Straight Beef Formula for Dogs to stop feeding the food after the Nebraska Department of Agriculture confirmed it was contaminated with Salmonella. Lystn, LLC, which owns A+ Answers Straight Beef Formula for Dogs, recalled one lot of the food, lot 2018 20/08 20, on Dec. 20, 2018 but has not recalled the product nationwide.

The FDA urges consumers to stop feeding the product and dispose of it in safe containers where other animals cannot access it, as well as clean and disinfect areas where the product was stored or fed. For a comprehensive overview of the warning and recall, read the CVM Update on the FDA website.
