ATLANTA, Ga. — As the food industry prepares for the 2019 International Production & Processing Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, suppliers to the pet food market are also marking their territory at the trade show. Process and packaging solutions from Reiser, weighing equipment from Rice Lake Weighing Systems and conveying system from Schenck Process will be featured on the IPPE floor.

Reiser will feature products such as the Fabbri Automatic Stretch Wrapper, Fomaco Injectors and horizontal Form/Fill/Seal (FFS) packaging machines applicable to the pet food and treat industry. As the packaging of pet food evolves to cater to demand, FFS has become more prevalent. Reiser will be demonstrating its FFS machinery and other products at booth B6335.

Rice Lake will demonstrate its metal detection weighing and washdown production solutions at booth B6153. Rice Lake will feature its MotoWeigh in-motion weighing and metal detection solution, as well as three washdown scales.

Conveying systems and dust collectors will make an appearance at Schenck’s booth A2926. The supplier will demonstrate its MULTIBELT BEMP and Multi-Duty Airlock conveying systems, and the MCF PowerSaver and Mac SpaceSaver dust collectors.

This year’s IPPE will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center from Feb. 12-14, 2019. Food processing experts and professionals by the thousands will gather to browse exhibitions from all corners of the industry, from feed milling to hatchery to processing and more.

Last year the International Production & Processing Expo drew more than 30,000 attendees representing more than 124 countries. Historically, food processors and suppliers from Canada have led international attendance, followed by Mexico, Brazil, and the Netherlands. Over 20% of attendees hold top positions in their companies, and nearly another 20% represent sales and marketing roles.
