MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State University’s IGP Institute will host an on-site training course on Pet Food Formulation for Commercial Production Jan. 14 to 18, 2019. The course will teach participants about the composition and processing considerations of raw pet food ingredients, as well as lessons on pet nutrition, regulatory constraints, supply chain and storage, formulation tools and more to help processors formulate new products, rethink old ones and troubleshoot formulation issues.

Pet food company employees are invited to register for the educational event, specifically those involved in formulation, product development, quality control, marketing, procurement and ingredient handling, along with students and employees from startup companies.
