DUVALL, Wash. — Boss Dog Brand has entered the pet treat market with a line of frozen Greek yogurt-style dog treats. Each serving includes more than three billion probiotic cultures and are intended as a fun, palatable and nutritious way for pet owners to treat their dogs, according to founder Vasili Nassar.

“Our philosophy for Boss Dog is simple – great ingredients make great products – which holds true for both human and pet products,” said Nassar. “We are dedicated not only to quality but overall pet health, which is why all of our products are 100% human grade, 100% FDA and AAFCO compliant, and non-GMO.”

Boss Dog’s frozen Greek yogurt treats come in three flavors: peanut butter and banana, real cheddar and bacon, and pumpkin and cinnamon. The products are all-natural, contain no lactose, gluten, soy, corn or wheat, and are free of artificial ingredients. According to Nassar, Boss Dog frozen Greek yogurt treats are made from milk sourced from a single farm in California. They come in 3.5-oz. cups and are sold in the frozen sections of pet stores in select locations in Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado.

Boss Dog Brand was started by one of the founders of Greek Gods Yogurt, a line of authentic Greek-style products launched in 2002 and bought by The Hain Celestial Group in 2010.
